The LVM-3 M3 mission, also known as OneWeb India 2, marks ISRO's second launch of 2021 and the fourth flight of the Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle Mark III (GSLV Mk III), which is the country's most powerful rocket. The success of this mission is a significant achievement for ISRO, as it aims to expand its space market and commercial ventures.
The launch of Amazonia-1 and the 36 other satellites will aid in environmental monitoring and management, as well as provide a variety of communication services, including internet access. The Indian government has set a goal of making the country self-reliant in the field of space technology, and this latest achievement by ISRO is a significant step in that direction.
ISRO has been involved in several space missions over the years, including the Chandrayaan-2 lunar mission and the Mars Orbiter Mission. The agency's success has helped position India as a player in the global space race, and this latest mission is a testament to its capabilities in the field of space technology.
